Global warming and its consequences are provoking today climate upheavals that threaten biodiversity and the well being of all living beings on our planet Earth.
Charling Tao will briefly describe the urgency of the situation and discuss some existing solutions, that have been implemented, or are proposed by space scientists and others.
Charling Tao is a grandmother and CNRS director of research emerita in Center of Particle Physics Marseille, France and emerita professor of cosmology, Department of Astronomy, Tsinghua University, China.
A long term activist, she has (co-) founded Ecosystem Restoration Communities (Camps), and the Weathermakers for a Sinai (re)greening
She is an ambassador for the Egyptian Center for Desert Research and Habiba community in Nuweiba, Sinai.
